Alford RV Park
Magnolia, Texas
30 RV Sites
Set in Magnolia, Texas, in the pine-and-hardwood forest country northwest of Houston, Alford RV Park operates as a gated community offering cement-pad RV lots on flat, level ground suited to both short-term travelers and guests seeking longer-term accommodations in a clean, well-managed property. The park's Magnolia address puts it in a rapidly growing corridor between the Houston metropolitan area and the Sam Houston National Forest, giving guests access to both suburban amenities and genuine East Texas woodland character within a reasonable drive.
Cement lots are available in pull-through and back-in configurations, accommodating a range of RV sizes on surfaces that provide a more stable and clean parking base than gravel or grass alternatives. A secure on-site dog area allows guests with pets to exercise their animals without leaving the property, and a brand-new gazebo provides a shaded communal gathering space for socializing and outdoor dining. The property's amenity package includes a laundry room, a walking trail through the park, an RV essentials store, and a lounge area with television and free Wi-Fi, and active outdoor games—ring toss, cornhole, and ladder ball—are available in the common area for guests who want casual recreation within the park's boundaries.
Magnolia's character as a community blends the residential quiet of a small Texas town with the amenity access of its position on the outer edge of the greater Houston metropolitan area. The surrounding forest country gives the immediate neighborhood a wooded feel, and the Lone Star Trail—Texas's longest hiking trail, running approximately 96 miles through the Sam Houston National Forest—is accessible within a reasonable drive for guests seeking more substantial outdoor recreation beyond the park's walking trail.
Magnolia's local dining and retail scene reflects the town's growing identity as a boutique destination within greater Houston's orbit. The Magnolia Farmers Market offers seasonal produce and artisan crafts on designated Sundays, and Deacon Baldy's Bar and Food Trucks provides craft beverage and diverse food truck programming in a casual outdoor setting popular with local residents and visitors. Lone Pint Brewery, known regionally for its Yellow Rose IPA and commitment to renewable energy in its production process, offers Saturday tastings and brewery tours for guests interested in Texas craft beer culture. D's Farm Road BBQ provides traditional smoked brisket in the barbecue tradition deeply rooted in this part of Texas.
Alford RV Park is open year-round, with the mild Gulf Coast-influenced climate of the greater Houston area supporting comfortable outdoor conditions across most of the calendar year. Extended-stay guests make up a significant portion of the park's occupancy, and the cement-pad infrastructure and gated security appeal to guests looking for a stable, longer-term RV home base within the Houston metropolitan region. Advance reservations are advisable, particularly for premium pad positions that book ahead during periods of high regional demand. The park's position in one of the fastest-growing counties in Texas gives long-term guests a front-row perspective on the expansion of the greater Houston metropolitan area into the former agricultural and timber lands of Montgomery County, while the park itself maintains the wooded, quieter character of an earlier era of Magnolia's development.
