Rio Guadalupe Resort in New Braunfels, Texas, offers 64 full-hookup RV sites and 25 cabins on the Guadalupe River, with 20, 30, and 50-amp service and rigs accepted up to 94 feet, open all year. Premiere sites join back-in 30/50, back-in water-and-electric, and pull-through categories, with an outdoor pool, boat and kayak rentals, and a boutique shop. Sixty-four sites span back-in 30/50-amp, back-in water-and-electric, pull-thru 30/50-amp, and Premiere categories, carrying water, sewer, and electric where noted with site WiFi, sized to 94 feet, with fire pits, picnic tables, and BBQ pits. Confirm your tier, as the water-and-electric category does not carry sewer at the site. Ninety-four feet is exceptional for a riverfront Hill Country property. Twenty-five cabins round out the lodging. A general store, boutique shop, restrooms, showers, and a pet washing station handle the practical side. Four dog-friendly cabins are available with a 25-pound weight restriction for all breeds excluding service dogs; there is no weight restriction for dogs staying at RV sites. An outdoor pool anchors the summer, with boat rentals and kayak rentals opening the river for boating, paddle boats, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and fishing. A playground, pavilion, dog park, and picnicking fill the rest, and the property operates as a wedding venue. Updates to Rio Guadalupe Resort Pet Policy - As of December 2020, we now have four dog-friendly cabins available with a 25lb weight restriction for all breeds, excluding service dogs. - There is no weight restriction for dogs staying with guests in the RV park. - In the past, we permitted guests to bring dogs into the RV park between October through March. - Approved dogs are now allowed year-round in designated dog-friendly cabins and within the RV park. FAQs Do you offer day passes? - Yes, we do! - Our day passes give you access to the Guadalupe River, where you can float or kayak right in front of our resort. - It’s a great option if you want to enjoy the river for the day without staying overnight. - Day passes are priced as follows: adults: $15, kids (ages 7–17): $10, locals only (adults): $12, locals only (kids): $10. Can I purchase a day fishing pass? - Yes, non-guests may purchase a day fishing pass for $10. - The day pass includes parking and Guadalupe River access. Is fishing allowed at the Resort? - Yes, banking and wade fishing are allowed. - Non-guests are required to purchase a fishing day pass for $10. How long does it take to float down the Guadalupe River? - The float down the Guadalupe River can take anywhere from 2 to 5 hours, depending on the speed of the current, the crowd, and the number of people in your party. Are pets allowed? - Yes! - We have updated our pet policy and now have an on-site dog park. What are some of the area attractions? - Schlitterbahn Water Park, Gruene Hall, Natural Bridge Caverns, Wurstfest, Comal County Fair, Natural Bridge Wildlife Park, Canyon Lake Gorge, are all a short drive from Rio Raft- we’ll help you get there. - Additionally, we are less than an hour from San Antonio / the Alamo and the State Capital in Austin. Can you have alcohol on the River and what size ice chests can we bring? - Yes, alcohol is allowed, subject to state and local laws, which means not before noon on Sunday, no glass on the river or lake, and please drink responsibly. - There is no size limit on ice chests on our section of the river, but no polystyrene is allowed, and be sure your chest latches securely to avoid spills. - Disposable containers are allowed on our section of the river, and we furnish trash bags with all rentals. Are the cabins air-conditioned? - Yes, all of Rio Guadalupe’s cabins are air-conditioned and heated.

Rules

Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - RV site check-in is 1 PM. - Checkout is 12:00 PM (No refund for early departures). - RV Park winter and summer rates based on double occupancy. - Cabin checkout is 11:00 am (No refund for early departures). - At least one guest in cabins must be 21 years old or older. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Rates and Charges - Rates are subject to river district fees. - There are extra charges for additional people. Prohibited Activity - No smoking. - Signs of smoking will result in a minimum $200.00 cleaning fee. - Any losses or damages to Resort property will be charged to the credit card on file. - Failure to comply with Resort policies will result in eviction without a refund. Cabin Maximum Occupancy - 1 BR efficiency – up to 4 people. - 1 BR cabin – Up to 5 people. (Extra fee for 5th person) - 2 BR cabin – Up to 5 people. (Extra fee for 5th person) - 2-story cabins – Up to 8 people. (extra fee for ninth person) - 2-night minimum stay in reservations/booking. Pergola Rentals - Rent our beautiful pergola for your next event. - Please note that guests are required to bring their own equipment. - Pricing for extra individuals and pets: additional monthly occupants 18 years and older $100 per month (Background Required), occupants 7-17 years old $15 per month, 6 and under free. Resort Safety - For the safety of our guests and their children, a 5mph speed limit is strictly enforced. - Please do not park or drive on the grass. - We ask that you do not leave children unattended. - Resort property has rough and uneven terrain – please watch your step. Keep Texas Beautiful - To preserve the beauty of our facilities, please keep your area tidy. - Do not throw cigarette butts, charcoal, or ashes on the ground. - Pick up all trash before departure. Quiet Hours - They are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. - Loud noises, profane music, and vulgar language are prohibited at all times. - Fireworks and firearms are prohibited. Pet Policy Dogs - Nightly stays - $5 per dog per night. - Monthly stays - $10 per month per dog. - Add this in reservation/booking. Breed Restrictions - No weight limit, max of 2 dogs per site. - All dogs must be registered with the office. - Restriction on certain breeds such as Pitbull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Shepard. Rules for Pets Within the Park - You are responsible for the actions of your pet. - Owners are required to sign a waiver at check-in. - Any losses or damages to Resort property will result in a minimum $200 charge to the credit card on file. - Non-aggressive breeds only. - If your pet demonstrates aggressive or disruptive behavior (such as excessive barking), we may ask you to leave the park without a refund. - All vaccinations must be up to date. - Children may not walk the dog(s) without a parent present. - Your pet must be on a leash at all times while outside. - Do not leave your pet unattended. - Pets are not allowed in buildings or swimming pool areas. - Pick up after your pets. Cabins - $50 Non-refundable cleaning fee. - No more than two dogs per cabin. RV Park - Nightly/Weekly: $5 per pet. - Monthly: $15 per pet.

Cancellation Policy

Campground Cancellation Policy - Please reply to your confirmation email stating you need to cancel your reservation. - If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our office. - Cancellations made outside of (fourteen) 14 days prior to the arrival date will result in a cancellation fee of $100.00 per cabin or $50.00 per RV spot. - Cancellations made inside (fourteen)14 days of the arrival date will not receive any refund. - In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 14 (fourteen) days’ notice, shorten your stay, or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take full responsibility for your entire reservation. - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - Please contact Spot2Nite to cancel a reservation via email to [email protected] or call (877)778-2683, Option 1. - Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
