Riverforest Park delivers exceptional camping in Weedsport, New York, with pristine facilities and premium amenities. We have 360 sites that offer both sunny and shaded options across most of the property. Relax at our swimming pool, lounge by the pond, or enjoy the day out on the Seneca River. Enjoy water access through our marina and boat ramp. We maintain meticulously clean restrooms and showers, offer honey wagon service, and welcome pets throughout the property. Registrations and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- Campsite check-in time is 3:00 PM.
- Campsite check-out time is 1:00 PM.
- Cabin check-in time is 4:00 PM.
- Cabin check-out time is 11:00 AM.
- Extended access is available during peak season to stay in the park until 6:00 PM, subject to availability.
- Extended access (after check out time) does not guarantee guests may remain on their site until departure.
- Extended access guarantees campground and amenity access only.
- Extended access requires parking in the overflow lot.
- Extended access requires an additional fee.
- Access is based on availability.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the onsite manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.

- Guests may guarantee a specific campsite or cabin by paying the applicable locking fee.
- Guests who opt out of the locking fee are guaranteed their selected site or cabin type, but not the specific unit number.
- Rates fluctuate based on occupancy and availability.
- Rates are subject to change with each search.
- Must be 21 or older to rent a campsite or cabin.
- Wristbands issued upon check-in must be worn at all times.
- Wristbands identify registered guests and provide access to park amenities, activities, and facilities.
- Guests may be denied access to activities or amenities without a wristband.
Campsite Occupancy & Site Rules
- One camping unit and two cars are permitted per site.
- Day guest vehicles must park in the overflow lot.
- An RV site may be used for tent camping with a maximum of two tents.
- An RV site may house a single RV.
- Maximum of eight people per site.
- Rates are based on four people aged four years and older.
- Additional person fees apply.
- Minimum stay requirements may apply during requested dates.
- Seasonal campsites are available.
- Trailer storage is available.
Vehicle & Recreational Vehicles
- No bicycle riding after dark.
- State law requires helmets for all guests 14 years old and under.
- Battery-powered scooters, bicycles, and other means of transportation are not allowed.
- Personal golf carts are not allowed.
- Campers may arrive on a motorcycle.
- Motorcycles may not be ridden around the park.
Flag Policy
- The following flags are permitted at campsites and throughout the campground: international flags, American flags, Canadian flags, military flags, including Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, POW, MIA, and veterans flags.
- Sports and decorative flags, including holiday, seasonal, and garden flags, are allowed.
Reservation Restrictions
- Reservations that include a Saturday arrival or departure are not accepted unless made within one week of booking.
- Reservations during Memorial Day Weekend or Labor Day Weekend with a Sunday departure are not accepted unless made within one week of booking.
- A three-night minimum stay is required during Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.
Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are daily from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Firearms & Weapons Policy
- Guests must obey all federal, state, and local laws regarding the ownership and possession of firearms.
- Firearms are not permitted in property buildings or common areas.
- Firearms may be kept in a locked private vehicle in parking areas if permitted by law.
- The discharge of firearms, BB guns, air guns, air rifles, or similar devices is strictly prohibited.
Booking Fees
- For reservations booked in person or over the phone, a booking fee plus applicable tax supports the administrative costs of processing reservations through guest services teams.
Campsite Pet Policy
- Pets of the registered RV site occupant are welcome.
- A maximum of two pets is allowed per site.
- Guests and visitors may not bring pets into the park.
- Visitors arriving with pets will not be permitted to enter the park.
- Pet owners are responsible for pet noise and cleanup.
- Pets must be kept on a leash.
- Pets may not be left unattended at the site.
- Pets are not allowed at tent sites.
- Pets are not allowed on RV sites used for tent camping.
- Hostile pets may be removed from the park.
Campsite Change Policy
- Changes to reservation arrival or departure dates made outside the cancellation window of two or more weeks will receive a one-time courtesy change.
- Additional changes will incur a $15 service fee per change.
- Guests are responsible for any resulting rate differences.
- Changes that decrease occupancy or pets and result in a credit will be issued as Camp Credit.
- Camp Credit expires one year from the date of issuance.
- Reservation arrival and departure dates may not be changed within the cancellation window.
Cabin Policies
- Rates are based on four people aged four years and older.
- Additional person fees apply.
- No tents are allowed at cabins or cottages.
- Minimum stay requirements may apply during requested dates.
- Cabins are non-smoking.
- An excessive cleaning fee will be assessed for smoking policy violations.
- No pets are allowed during 2026.
- Pet-friendly options may be added for 2027.
- Guests must leave rental units in a reasonably clean condition upon departure.
- A $75 cleaning fee may apply if basic cleaning guidelines are not met.
- Units left in an unreasonably filthy condition will incur a minimum $250 professional cleaning fee.
- Unauthorized pets will incur a minimum $250 professional cleaning fee.
- Evidence of smoking will incur a minimum $250 professional cleaning fee.
Cabin Change Policy
- Changes to reservation arrival or departure dates made outside the applicable cancellation window of three to five or more weeks will receive a one-time courtesy change.
- Additional changes will incur a $15 service fee per change.
- Guests are responsible for any resulting rate differences.
- Changes that decrease occupancy or pets and result in a credit will be issued as Camp Credit.
- Camp Credit expires one year from the date of issuance.
- Reservation arrival and departure dates may not be changed within the cancellation window.
Payment Policy
- Future bookings require a 50% deposit.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival.
- If applicable, a resort fee is added to each reservation.
- Additional person fees may apply when occupancy exceeds the number of guests included in the base rate.
- Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express are accepted.
- If assistance is needed to pay in full, please reach out to park management.
- All outstanding balances are due no later than 30 days before arrival.
- Outstanding balances remaining 29 days before arrival will automatically be charged to the payment method used for the initial deposit.
- Reservations with declined final payments may be canceled according to the cancellation policy.
Conduct Policy
- Harassment or mistreatment of staff or other guests will not be tolerated.
- Racist comments or hate speech will not be tolerated.
- Guests are expected to behave in a family-friendly manner.
- Line jumping, profanity, and unruly behavior are considered offensive behavior.
- Offensive behavior may result in ejection from the property without a refund.
Water Attractions & Pool Rules
- Outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited within the Water Zone area.
- All persons under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a supervising companion in pool and water attraction areas.
- A supervising companion is responsible for ensuring the child complies with all applicable rules and regulations.
- Some pools and attractions may not have a lifeguard on duty.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Guests must follow all posted signs and rules.
- U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets and puddle jumpers are encouraged for children 48 inches or shorter.
Dress Code
- Proper swim attire is required.
- Swim attire must be appropriate for a family environment.
- Jeans, cutoffs, undergarments, revealing swimwear, or swimwear displaying violence, nudity, vulgarity, discriminatory language, or graphics are prohibited.
- Swim attire with buckles, rivets, zippers, exposed metal, or other sharp objects is not allowed on slides.
Food & Beverage Policy
- Food, drinks, and coolers are allowed in the waterpark.
- Glass bottles, glass containers, and alcohol are not permitted.
- Food and beverages are not allowed in pools or spas.
Waterpark Prohibited Items & Activities
- Pets are not allowed except for working service animals.
- Service animals must remain with their handler at all times.
- Service animals may not enter pools or have contact with the water.
- Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are not allowed in or around the pool area.
- Firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind are not allowed.
- Large flotation devices, including floats and rafts, are not permitted.
- Breath-holding games are not permitted in pools or attractions.
Inclement Weather Policy
- Certain pools or attractions may close during severe weather, including electrical storms, heavy rain, or high winds.
- Every effort will be made to reopen attractions as soon as conditions are safe.
- Pool decks and cabanas may be cleared during weather-related closures.
- Guests may be required to remove personal items and leave the waterpark area.
Ride Restrictions
- Guests with limited swimming abilities, certain body proportions, heights, or weights may not be able to use all attractions.
- Guests must meet attraction requirements to ride.
Add-On Policy
- Add-on cancellations made more than one week before arrival will receive Camp Credit minus a $10 cancellation fee per add-on.
- Add-on cancellations made less than one week before arrival will forfeit the full reservation payment.
- Camp Credit expires one year from the date of issuance.
- Add-ons include items, amenities, or services offered for a separate charge.
- Examples of add-ons include golf carts, water rentals, linen rentals, cabanas, Fun Passes, and Bear Visits.
- Golf cart rentals require a minimum two-night reservation.
- Golf cart rentals may be reserved at the time of booking or registration, subject to availability.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
