Black Rabbit RV Park

30 RV Sites, 5 Tent Sites

Black Rabbit RV Park in Hamilton, MT, offers 30 full-hookup pull-thru RV sites and 5 tent sites, with 30 and 50-amp service and room for rigs up to 45 feet. Every site is a pull-thru carrying water, sewer, electric, and cable TV — nothing needs unhitching. Laundry, a bathhouse with showers, a dump station, and WiFi cover the essentials, and pets are welcome. Planned activities run through the season. There are no permanent sites available at present; the park keeps a wait list. The setting is the amenity. The park sits on the Bitterroot River one mile north of Hamilton, in a riverside spot that puts guests at the center of one of the most beautiful valleys in the western United States. Hamilton anchors the Bitterroot Valley in western Montana, with the Bitterroot Range on one side and the Sapphires on the other, and Missoula about 45 minutes north. Rates for sites and tent spots are on the booking page. Ask about the wait list if you're interested in a long-term spot.

Jolley Camper RV and Cottages

14 RV Sites, 10 Tent Sites, 3 Cottages

Jolley Camper RV and Cottages in Ashton, ID, offers 14 RV sites, 3 cottages, and 10 tent sites, with 30-amp service and room for rigs up to 50 feet. The park publishes two site categories — full-hookup sites carrying water, sewer, and electric with site-delivered WiFi, and water-only sites — so confirm which you're booking and which layout it uses when you reserve. Note the electrical: service is 30-amp, so a rig wired for heavier draw will need an adapter and some load management. Laundry, a bathhouse with showers, a dump station, sport courts, and a community fire pit cover the rest. Two vehicles are allowed per site, with a nightly fee charged on arrival for each additional one. Pets are welcome. Volleyball is the on-site recreation, and the location does the rest. Ashton sits in the upper Snake River Plain near the Wyoming border, at the western gateway to Yellowstone's Bechler and Cave Falls areas, with the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway and the St. Anthony dunes close by. Rates for sites, cottages, and tent spots are on the booking page. Yellowstone season books out early.

HAPI Trails Ranch

10 RV Sites

HAPI Trails Ranch in Driggs, Idaho, is a horse-specific facility in the Teton Valley offering 10 RV sites with water and electric on 30 and 50-amp service and rigs accepted to 80 feet, alongside dry camping areas, stalls, corrals, and arenas. One requirement is absolute: do not book unless you are traveling with a horse. Ten back-in sites carry water and electric on 30 and 50-amp, sized to 80 feet — note there are no sewer hookups, so plan tank capacity. Multiple dry camping areas supplement the hookup sites. Horse paddocks and pens share the grounds with a professional network of stalls, corrals, and arenas purpose-built to make horse-and-rider camping straightforward. Office hours are by appointment only, so arrange your arrival in advance. Pets are welcome. The ranch is home to the Horse Adoption Program, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to rehabilitating and re-homing at-risk horses, and access is reserved exclusively for guests arriving with their own horses. That restriction is the whole model, and it produces facilities considerably better suited to equestrian travel than a general campground with a few pens. Driggs sits in the wide, glacier-carved Teton Valley of eastern Idaho, where the spired peaks of the Tetons rise from the eastern skyline and working hay meadows stretch beneath enormous skies. Riding country opens up in every direction. The Teton Valley season runs summer through early fall, when the high country is open and the riding is at its best. With 10 sites and an appointment-only office, arrange your stay well in advance.
