Ouachita Campground at Edendell

15 RV Sites, 10 Tent Sites, 2 Lodges

Ouachita Campground at Edendell is in the Ouachita National Forest with ATV trails from the property. We offer an RV Park with nightly and monthly rates, tent camping, a glamping deck with beautiful mountain views, a cabin great for family reunions, and kayak rentals and shuttle service. We are the closest campground and RV park to the Ouachita River access in Oden. The small town of Oden sits between Mena and the Talimena Scenic Drive on one side and Mount Ida, the self-proclaimed Quartz Crystal Capital of the World, on the other, in the heart of the Ouachita Mountains. Located 20 miles from Lake Ouachita, cleanest lake in the Midwest, between Hot Springs, and the Crater of Diamonds, Ouachita campground at Edendell is a perfect spot to settle in and explore. Walking trails, hiking, swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, birding, off-roading, and crystal mining are among the many things to do nearby. The campground is open all year, and offers EV charging — rare in the Ouachitas. Our guest facilities building has free laundry, bathrooms and hot showers, and a kitchenette, for all campground guests to use, and there's a play area for kids near it. The 28 acre grounds include a pond for fishing and swimming, and our growing botanical gardens. Pets are welcome. Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are recommended, especially for the guest house. The RV Sites are big rig friendly, have 20/30/50-amp electrical, water, sewer, free WiFi, and some have a fire pit, and a picnic table. Our cabin has room for the whole family! With 7 bedrooms and the futon in the living room, it comfortably sleeps 19. The backyard has a hot tub, a fenced in play yard, gas and charcoal grills, and firepit. The glamping deck with Ouachita Mountain views includes sleeping porch with a full size bed, electric blanket in cold weather, mini fridge, electrical outlets, coffee maker, and gas grill. Whether you're tent, car, or hammock camping in our spacious sites with picnic tables and fire rings, with the guest facilities building a short drive away, we have all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. Walk or drive to site. Rates for sites, lodges, and tent spots are on the website.

Hot Springs Campground & RV Park

5 RV Sites

Hot Springs Campground in Hot Springs, AR, offers 5 full-hookup RV sites with 20, 30, and 50-amp service and back-in sites for rigs up to 32 feet. Sites come in two categories, back-in 30-amp and back-in 50-amp, each carrying water, sewer, and electric. The 32-foot maximum is worth checking against your rig before you book — this campground suits smaller trailers and van conversions rather than coaches. Laundry, a clubhouse, a bathhouse, and WiFi cover the essentials, and pets are welcome. At five sites there's no recreation program, and none is needed: the campground sits beside the national park boundary, and guests spend their days in it. Hot Springs National Park is one of the oldest federally protected reserves in the country, established in 1832 as the Hot Springs Reservation — four decades before Yellowstone. Downtown Hot Springs and Bathhouse Row are five minutes away, with boating nearby. Rates and availability are on the booking page. Confirm your rig fits the 32-foot limit before reserving.

Tyler Camping RV Park

17 RV Sites, 2 Onsite RV/Trailers, 2 Tiny Houses

Tyler Camping RV Park in Tyler, Texas, offers 19 full-hookup RV sites and two tiny houses 1.5 miles from I-20, with 20, 30, and 50-amp service and rigs accepted to 50 feet. Executive pull-throughs join standard back-ins, with RV rentals available and wide-open grounds in the East Texas Piney Woods. Nineteen sites run in standard back-in and executive pull-through categories carrying water, sewer, and electric on 20, 30, and 50-amp, sized to 50 feet, with site WiFi. Two tiny houses and RV rentals — the Aurora by Forest River and the XPLOR — serve guests arriving without equipment, which is an unusual and genuinely useful option. Laundry handles the practical side. Pets are welcome. A community fire pit, playground, and dog park fill the grounds, with picnicking across the wide-open property and planned activities through the season. The pine forest setting gives the Tyler area its green, wooded character — distinctly different from the open plains most visitors picture when they think of Texas. The local attractions are unusually varied for a city this size. Tyler State Park's lake and forest trails are close, along with the Caldwell Zoo, the Tyler Rose Garden, the Discovery Science Place, Miranda Lambert's Pink Pistol, True Vine Brewing Co., and the East Texas State Fair and Santa Land. Wine tasting is nearby. The park serves both I-20 through-travelers and destination visitors. Spring azalea and rose season and the fall fair drive the sharpest demand — reserve ahead for those windows.

115 RV Sites

The Retreat at Shady Creek in Aubrey, Texas, offers 64 full-hookup back-in RV sites in Denton County's north DFW corridor, with 30 and 50-amp service and rigs accepted to 60 feet on a big-rig-friendly layout. Sixty-four back-in sites run in deluxe and premium categories, both carrying water, sewer, and electric on 30 and 50-amp with site WiFi, sized to 60 feet. Sixty feet accommodates a long coach with a tow, and the two-tier structure keeps booking simple. A laundry, propane fills and exchange, restrooms, and showers handle the practical side. Stoney Creek RV Park

103 RV Sites

Stoney Creek RV Park in Claremore, Oklahoma, offers 103 full-hookup RV sites in the rolling hills of Rogers County, with 20, 30, and 50-amp service in back-in and pull-through categories. A storm shelter, pond, creek, sports courts, and dog park serve a country setting minutes from Route 66. One hundred three sites run in back-in and pull-through categories, both carrying water, sewer, and electric on 20, 30, and 50-amp with site WiFi, with fire pits and picnic tables. Two straightforward categories keep booking simple — confirm length limits with the park for your rig. A laundry, propane fills, restrooms, and showers handle the practical side. The storm shelter is a genuine safety feature in Oklahoma rather than a marketing line. A pond and creek sit on the property, with sports courts, pickleball, basketball, a playground, pavilion, dog park, and picnicking filling the grounds. Planned activities run through the season and the birding across the pond and creek is productive. The sites are spacious and the country setting keeps the park genuinely quiet, which is what regulars come back for. Pets are welcome, and a casino and lake are nearby. The address is 21310 South 4230 Road, just outside Claremore — a Route 66 town and the birthplace of Will Rogers, with his memorial museum, the J.M. Davis Arms Museum, and Claremore Lake all close. Spring and fall bring the most comfortable Oklahoma conditions, with summer drawing Route 66 travelers and lake traffic. Demand runs steadily rather than seasonally. Reserve ahead for event weekends and holiday travel periods.
