Aloha Beach RV Resort
Port Aransas, Texas
27 RV Sites
Aloha Beach RV Resort occupies a quiet setting in Port Aransas, Texas—the beach town at the northern tip of Mustang Island on the Gulf of Mexico coast where the Aransas Pass and the Gulf meet and the combination of barrier island beach, fishing, and birding infrastructure makes this one of the most comprehensively equipped outdoor recreation communities on the Texas coast. The resort's 36 level concrete paved sites are built for guests who want full-service RV comfort with immediate access to Port Aransas's beach, marina, and restaurant scene without the noise and density of the waterfront resort properties on the busier end of the island.
Each of the 36 sites offers full hookups with 50, 30, and 20-amp electrical service, water, sewer, and dedicated WiFi routers providing individual high-speed connections rather than shared park-wide signal. A swimming pool and hot tub provide on-site water recreation, and an observation deck positioned for sunset viewing over the Texas coastal sky gives the resort a destination amenity that rewards the end of each beach day. A bathhouse, laundry facility, secure storage, and boat hookup stations handle the practical needs of coastal camping. Golf cart access facilitates movement around the property and to nearby town amenities without requiring a vehicle for every errand.
Port Aransas—known locally as Port A—occupies the northern end of Mustang Island at the only deepwater Gulf pass between Galveston and Brownsville that provides regular tidal exchange, which is why the fishing here is consistently productive across a wide range of species. The Gulf Intracoastal Waterway runs immediately behind the barrier island, connecting the resort's boat access to the Redfish Bay System, the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, and the protected bay waters that provide habitat for whooping cranes, roseate spoonbills, and the year-round bird diversity that has made the Texas coast the most bird-rich region in North America by species count.
The Gulf beach at Port Aransas is several miles long with open vehicle access at designated entry points—a Texas coastal tradition that allows campers and day-trippers to drive directly onto the beach and set up immediately at the water's edge. Fishing from the Port Aransas Fishing Pier, charter boat trips for red drum, speckled trout, and kingfish, and kayak fishing in the protected bay waters provide the full spectrum of coastal angling options within easy reach of the resort. Corpus Christi, about 30 minutes across the causeway, provides the urban amenities of a mid-size coastal Texas city including the Texas State Aquarium, the aircraft carrier USS Lexington museum, and the Harbor Bridge overlook of Corpus Christi Bay.
Aloha Beach RV Resort operates year-round in the subtropical Gulf Coast climate where mild winters make Port Aransas a genuine shoulder and off-season destination rather than a summer-only resort. Spring and fall deliver the most comfortable temperatures for fishing, birding, and beach time, and the winter whooping crane season at the nearby Aransas National Wildlife Refuge draws wildlife observers through the cooler months. Summer brings peak beach demand and the highest site rates—book well ahead for spring break and July Fourth weekend stays on an island where quality full-hookup camping with the resort amenities of Port A is genuinely limited.
