Common FAQ's What are your check-in and check-out times? - Check-in: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM - Check-out: 10:00 AM Is Meadville open year-round? - Meadville is open year-round for monthly and transient campers - Our “Seasonal” camping runs from April through October. Are pets allowed? - Yes, we are a pet-friendly campground! - All pets must be registered with the front office. - Pets must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after. - A maximum of three (3) cats or three dogs (3) will be permitted. - Some breed restrictions may apply—please reach out for details. Are there additional fees for extra guests or pets? - No, we do not have additional fees for guests or pets. What forms of payment do you accept? - We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and checks for payments. What hookups are available at each site? - Most of our RV sites offer full hookups, including water, sewer, and 30/50 Amp. electric. - We have a few water and electric only sites and have a dump station available for any guests that need it. Does Meadville have a laundry facility or a campground store? - Yes, we have a coin operated laundry facility and an office convenience store Is Wi-Fi available? - Wi-Fi is available in the RV section of the campground. - The Wifi does not reach most of the cabins. - Please note that speeds may vary based on usage and location. Do campsites have picnic tables and fire rings? - Yes! - Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring for your enjoyment. Are restrooms and showers available? - Yes, we offer clean, public restrooms and showers for our guests. - They are located within the office building and centrally within the campground, at the Pavilion. What activities are available at the campground? - We offer a variety of weekly activities and events for campers. - Other amenities include a heated inground swimming pool, multiple fishing ponds, playgrounds, volleyball & basketball courts, wooded trails, and more! What are quiet hours? - Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. - Please be respectful of your fellow campers. Can I have visitors at my campsite? - Yes, visitors are welcome! - They must check in at the office and follow all campground rules. Do you allow golf carts - Yes, we allow electric golf carts onsite for seasonal campers. - Golf carts must be registered at the start of each season and have a $150 registration fee What is your cancellation policy? RV / Tent / Water & Electric Site Reservations: - Cancellations made 15 days or more prior to 3:00 p.m. on the check-in day will be charged a $10.00 cancellation fee, plus any Select Your Site fee. - Cancellations made 8 to14 days prior will result in forfeiture of 50% of all fees paid, or the reservation may be moved one time only, at the same rate and for the same number of days. - Cancellations made 7 days or less prior will result in forfeiture of all fees paid. - Any cancellation after a reservation has already been moved will result in forfeiture of all fees paid. - Reservations made within the cancellation window are still subject to the same cancellation policy. - See Holiday & Special Event Reservations information below. - No email cancellations will be accepted. Cabin Reservations - Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to 3:00 p.m. on the check-in day will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee. - Cancellations made 8 to 29 days prior will result in forfeiture of 50% of all fees paid. - Cancellations made 15 days or more prior may be moved one time only, at the same rate and for the same length of stay. - Cancellations made 7 days or less prior will result in forfeiture of all fees paid. - Reservations made within the cancellation window are still subject to the same cancellation policy. - See Holiday & Special Event Reservations information below. - No email cancellations will be accepted. Holiday & Special Event Reservations - The Meadville Campground Holiday and Special Event schedule can be found on our website. - All holiday and special event cancellations must be made at least 30 days in advance to receive a refund, less the applicable $10.00 or $50.00 cancellation fee. - Holiday and Special Event Reservations cancelled within 30 days of check-in, regardless of circumstance, will not receive a refund. Nearby Attractions - Meadville Campground is just minutes from downtown Meadville, local restaurants, and popular outdoor destinations like Conneaut Lake, Pymatuning State Park, and the Erie National Wildlife Refuge. - Guests can also enjoy quick access to attractions such as Waldameer Park & Water World and the many trails, lakes, and scenic areas throughout Crawford County. To Enter Campground - During Store Hours - Flip toggle switch on pole at the gate area from car window. - Read the sign posted. 24-Hours and When Store Is Closed - Acquire a controlled access gate card from store for a refundable deposit - will access one vehicle only. To Exit Campground - Gate will open automatically 24 hours a day.
