Positioned along the Colorado River in Bullhead City, Arizona, directly across from the casino resort corridor of Laughlin, Nevada, Silver View RV Resort offers a river-view camping experience with resort-grade amenities suited to guests who want direct Colorado River access alongside the entertainment options of one of the Southwest's most distinctive border communities. The resort's riverview RV sites take full advantage of the property's waterfront position, with the broad Colorado River and the Laughlin skyline visible from select sites across the property. Both back-in and riverview RV sites are available at the resort, and the facility infrastructure includes a clubhouse, outdoor pool, and fitness center that give Silver View a resort character beyond what a standard river-access campground typically provides. Recreational amenities on the grounds include pickleball courts and corn hole, while a well-stocked general store, laundry facilities, and a dog park address practical guest needs during extended stays. The combination of river views, pool access, and proximity to Laughlin's entertainment district makes the resort a particularly strong option for guests planning multi-week winter stays. The Colorado River at Bullhead City and Laughlin is a primary warm-water recreation corridor in the lower desert Southwest, supporting powerboating, personal watercraft use, fishing, and kayaking in a desert canyon environment that contrasts dramatically with the urban casino landscape along the Nevada bank. Bass fishing on the river and on the broader Lake Mohave to the north—the reservoir created by Davis Dam just downstream from the resort—draws anglers year-round, with largemouth bass, striped bass, channel catfish, and rainbow trout all present in the system. Laughlin's hotel-casino strip, connected to Bullhead City by the Colorado River and accessible by water taxi, provides a full range of dining, entertainment, and shopping options within a few minutes of the resort. Six golf courses in the Bullhead City-Laughlin area accommodate golfers looking for winter desert rounds, and the historic Eldorado Canyon Mine Tours south of the resort offer a glimpse into the Colorado River canyon's gold and silver mining heritage. The town of Oatman, approximately 25 miles north through the Black Mountains, is a preserved gold-rush-era community where wild burros roam the streets freely—a distinctively southwestern roadside attraction. Silver View RV Resort is a popular winter destination, with the October through April season representing peak occupancy as snowbird travelers from northern states and Canada establish extended stays in Bullhead City's mild desert climate. Summer temperatures along the lower Colorado regularly exceed 110 degrees Fahrenheit, limiting outdoor activity but sustaining strong occupancy among water recreation enthusiasts willing to manage the heat. Advance reservations for winter season stays are strongly recommended, as Bullhead City's riverfront RV inventory fills well ahead of the November-December arrival window. The resort's position directly on the Colorado River gives guests the kind of immediate waterfront access that many Bullhead City area campgrounds cannot offer from their inland positions, and the riverview sites' orientation toward Laughlin's illuminated skyline creates an unusually dramatic evening backdrop for guests settling in after a day on the water.
