Creekfire RV Resort in Savannah, Georgia, delivers a luxury resort camping experience just minutes from one of America's most celebrated historic cities, combining a spa, lazy river, hot tub, gated entry, and a comprehensive entertainment and recreation roster with the natural beauty of a lakeside Georgia coastal plain property that serves as the most fully appointed RV resort base camp in the Savannah metropolitan area. The resort's wedding venue and concierge-level service reflect the Savannah region's established celebration event culture—a city where the romance of Spanish moss, antebellum architecture, and river bluff sunsets has made destination weddings a significant hospitality industry alongside the tourism that draws 15 million visitors annually. The resort's amenity infrastructure is resort-caliber at every level: a lazy river, outdoor pool, spa, hot tub and sauna, fitness center, lake with boat and kayak rentals, cabins, gated entrance, golf cart rentals, bike rentals, splash pad, dining, snack bar, general store, propane fills, walking trails, pavilion, and a game room with billiards and ping pong collectively create a self-contained resort destination. Sports courts for pickleball, tennis, bocce ball, basketball, horseshoes, and corn hole provide organized activity alongside the lake's paddling and fishing, and planned activities, live music programming, and the resort's wedding venue create the event calendar that distinguishes a true resort campground from a service-oriented RV park. Savannah's historic district—a National Historic Landmark and one of the best-preserved examples of planned urban design in the United States—consists of 22 public squares laid out in James Oglethorpe's 1733 city plan and surrounded by Federal, Greek Revival, and Gothic Revival architecture representing the full range of the antebellum South's architectural ambition. The River Street waterfront and Factor's Walk above it, lined with the cotton warehouses that processed the Georgia coast's nineteenth-century agricultural wealth, provide a walkable historic waterfront experience that ranks among the most authentic in the American South. The Savannah College of Art and Design's presence throughout the historic district has injected an arts and culinary energy into Savannah's century-old heritage tourism infrastructure, creating a restaurant and gallery scene that consistently earns the city national recognition for its food culture—from the fried chicken and country buffet traditions of the Lady and Sons era to the James Beard Award-recognized contemporary Southern cuisine that has emerged from the SCAD community's influence. Fort Pulaski National Monument, Tybee Island's Atlantic beach communities, and the Okefenokee Swamp's wilderness extend the day-trip options from the resort's Savannah-area base. Creekfire RV Resort operates year-round in Savannah's subtropical coastal climate, with the mild November-through-April winter and spring seasons delivering the most comfortable conditions for exploring the historic district's 22 squares on foot and the surrounding coastal Georgia marshland's birding and kayaking resources. The St. Patrick's Day celebration—one of the largest in the United States, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors to Savannah's parade and riverfront in mid-March—creates the most competitive single reservation period, and the resort's combination of resort-quality infrastructure and proximity to the historic district makes it the premier RV destination in the Savannah market.

Absolutely wonderful. We broke down and Creekfire changed our reservations an hour before arriving with out question. Had to stay in a cabin instead of a site. Wonderful staff to deal with.

Very nice campground with friendly staff. Pool area is very nice however jet actions on the hot tub does not work and from what we were told have not for sometime. Sites are gravel or concrete pads with very small concrete patio which are a bit disappointing for such an overall nice park.
