30 Villas

In Warrens, Wisconsin—in Monroe County's cranberry capital where the surrounding bogs produce the crop that Wisconsin's status as the nation's largest cranberry producer sustains and where the neighboring Jellystone Park's water resort infrastructure creates one of the most complete family camping environments in the western Wisconsin lakes and forest region—Warrens Lodging provides 67 thoughtfully designed villas across seven different floor plans with full kitchens, private baths, lofts, beautifully crafted wood decor, cable TV, WiFi, and fire rings, alongside complimentary access to the neighboring Jellystone Park's wave pool, lazy river, Wibit water obstacle course, multi-level splash pad, towering waterslides, fishing, mini-golf, and themed events in a villa-and-water-resort combination that delivers the enclosed accommodation comfort of a fully equipped lodge unit with the outdoor water park programming that Jellystone's family formula provides at the adjacent facility. Every villa night includes the full Jellystone experience. Sixty-seven villas in seven floor plans—from the couple's getaway configuration to the large-family layout with lofts and multiple sleeping areas—provide full kitchens for self-catering meals, private baths for the morning routine, cable TV and WiFi for the evening wind-down, and the wood-crafted decor that gives each villa the Wisconsin northwoods character that the surrounding Monroe County forest and bog landscape complements. Fire rings at each villa provide the outdoor gathering point that the Wisconsin camping tradition centers on. The complimentary Jellystone access—the wave pool, lazy river, Wibit water obstacle course, multi-level splash pad, and waterslides that the neighboring park maintains—creates the all-day water recreation that children remember about a Warrens summer trip long after the cranberry harvest marketing fades from memory. Warrens sits in Monroe County in western Wisconsin's agricultural and forest landscape, in the community that the Wisconsin Cranberry Growers Association has long promoted as the Cranberry Capital of Wisconsin. The surrounding Monroe County bogs produce the cranberries that Wisconsin's 21,000-plus harvested acres supply to Ocean Spray and the processing infrastructure that makes the state's cranberry industry the most productive in the nation. The annual Warrens Cranberry Festival, held the last weekend of September, draws 100,000-plus visitors to the Monroe County community for craft booths, cranberry food, bog tours, and the harvest celebration that has made it one of Wisconsin's largest single-weekend events for over 50 years. The Black River State Forest, 20 miles north near Black River Falls, protects 68,000 acres of central Wisconsin's pine-oak forest and the Black River's trout stream system in one of the most ecologically diverse state forests in Wisconsin—the DNR-managed hiking trails, ATV routes, cross-country ski trails, and the Black River's canoe corridor create the outdoor recreation inventory that the Warrens area's visitors access for the day. Wildcat Mountain State Park, 30 miles southeast near Ontario, provides the Kickapoo River valley's most dramatic topography—the coulee and ridge terrain of the Driftless Area's unglaciated Wisconsin landscape in a park whose scenic overlooks of the Kickapoo River valley below are among the most photographed in the state. Warrens Lodging operates seasonally through the warm-weather months, with the summer peak from June through August and the September Cranberry Festival period the two most demanded windows in the annual calendar. Winter closures allow the bog and forest landscape to complete the cranberry vine dormancy cycle and the snowmobile season that the Black River State Forest's trail system serves from December through February. Reserve your villa at Warrens Lodging and let the full-kitchen comfort, the Jellystone water park access, and the Monroe County cranberry country make western Wisconsin's most unique lodge-and-waterpark combination your family's next long weekend destination.
