Quilly's Cozy Traveler RV Park

Oyster Creek, Texas

30 RV Sites

In the Brazosport area of Brazoria County, Texas, Quilly's Cozy Traveler RV Park offers a quiet, gated coastal base camp where fishing, beach access, and wildlife refuge exploration converge within easy reach of the park's oversized concrete pads. Located in Oyster Creek, the park sits in the flat coastal plain south of Houston where the land opens up to the Gulf and the bays and bayous of the Texas coastal bend support an extraordinary wildlife ecosystem. With Surfside Beach nearby, Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge within reach, and fishing accessible directly across the street, this is a well-equipped and straightforward coastal Texas stop. The park's 30 oversized concrete pads accommodate large rigs with 30 and 50-amp full hookup service, and the gated entrance maintains a secure, quiet atmosphere throughout the property. A heated pool handles summer afternoons, and pickleball courts give active guests an on-site recreation option. WiFi is included with site service, and the grounds are well maintained with a low-key, unhurried character that suits travelers looking for a coastal pause rather than a resort experience. Tent sites are also available for those traveling without a rig, and the park's proximity to Surfside Beach and the local fishing scene makes it a natural choice for outdoor-focused travelers working this part of the Texas coast. Oyster Creek sits in the heart of one of the most ecologically productive coastal zones in the United States. The Texas coastal bend's system of bays, marshes, and tidal flats supports enormous populations of wading birds, waterfowl, and shorebirds—including roseate spoonbills, great blue herons, tricolored herons, and during migration, dozens of additional species passing through on the Central Flyway. Alligators are a genuine presence in the area's waterways, and the fishing—for redfish, flounder, speckled trout, and black drum—is consistently productive in the shallows and channels surrounding the park. Surfside Beach on the Gulf of Mexico provides the clearest and most immediately enjoyable coastal access in the area, with a wide beach, surf fishing, and the classic Gulf Coast experience within a short drive. Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge, one of the most important shorebird and waterfowl habitats on the upper Texas coast, is nearby for serious birders and casual wildlife watchers alike. The Brazosport area communities—Freeport, Clute, Lake Jackson, and others—offer dining, provisioning, and services for extended stays, and the greater Houston metro area lies to the north for everything else. Quilly's Cozy Traveler RV Park operates year-round and sees particular appeal during the winter months when the mild Texas Gulf Coast climate draws snowbirds from northern states. The fishing and birding are excellent in every season, with fall and spring migration adding additional wildlife spectacle for those inclined to look. The park's quiet, gated atmosphere suits couples and solo travelers as well as small families looking for a no-frills coastal base with genuine access to what makes this stretch of the Texas coast worth visiting. Book your site, cross the street for the fishing, and let the Texas Gulf Coast do the rest.
