Bolivar East RV Park on the Bolivar Peninsula, TX, offers 8 full-hookup back-in RV sites with 30 and 50-amp service and room for rigs up to 40 feet.
Every site is a back-in carrying water, sewer, and electric with site-delivered WiFi, a fire pit, and a picnic table. Pets are welcome. At eight sites this is a small, simple park rather than a resort — which on a barrier peninsula is exactly the point.
There's no recreation program here, and none is needed: the Gulf is the whole itinerary.
The park sits in Gilchrist on the eastern portion of the 27-mile Bolivar Peninsula, the Galveston County barrier island running from High Island at the mainland to the Bolivar Roads pass across from Galveston, with direct Gulf beach access.
Rates and availability are on the booking page. Eight sites with beach access means summer and fishing season both book well ahead.

Check-In Procedure

- We offer self-check-in, please confirm your site on your reservation and proceed directly to that site when you arrive.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Quiet Hours
- Quiet time is from 10:00 pm. to 8:00 am. Please be considerate of all other guests in the park. Parties are strictly prohibited.
(Please) Keep Off The Grass
- To protect our grass, please stay on sidewalks and roads. No mats or rugs on the grass. Do not cut the flowers.
Garbage disposal Policy
- Place trash in plastic bags and deposit it in the dumpster.
Speed Limit
- Follow the park speed limit of 10 MPH.
Washing Policy
- No washing of cars, RVs, etc. Please turn it off unattended.
Pet Policy
- All pets must be pre-approved, no aggressive breeds shall be allowed in the Park.
- Pets must be kept on a leash when outside.
- You must clean up after your pet and dispose of it properly.
RV Requirements
- RVs must be 10 years old or newer (or reviewed by Management).
Campfires Policy
- Campfires are allowed only in the designated areas.
Cancellation Policy
Campground Cancellation Policy
- 100% refund until 7 days prior to check-in. 50% percent refund 3 days prior, then 2 days prior the reservation is no longer refundable.
- All refund calculations exclude the RoverPass service fees and credit card processing, which are non-refundable.
RoverPass Cancellation Policy
- The platform and processing fees are non-refundable.
- Spot2Nite convenience fees are non-refundable.
