Jellystone Park Cleveland in Nova, OH, offers 143 full-hookup RV sites, 27 cabin and cottage rentals, and 7 tent sites, with 20, 30, and 50-amp service and room for rigs up to 50 feet.
Sites come in four categories — basic back-in, standard back-in, premium back-in, and standard pull-thru — all carrying water, sewer, and electric with a fire pit and picnic table. The grounds are gated, with laundry, a bathhouse with showers, a general store, firewood, propane fills, a dump station, golf cart rentals, and visiting food trucks. The after-hours emergency line is posted for guests; in an emergency, call 911 and notify staff. Pets are welcome, with a dog park.
The recreation is the full Yogi Bear program: an outdoor pool with inflatable water toys, a disc golf course, a jumping pillow, gaga ball, sport courts, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, a beach, a lake with kayak rentals and paddle boats, gem panning, walking trails, a pavilion, and a playground.
Nova sits at 40 Township Road 1031 in Ashland County, on the rolling glaciated plateau between Cleveland and Sandusky — Cedar Point and the Lake Erie shore are both an easy drive.

- Our pool and lake are open 11 am-8 pm, 7 days a week.
- The pool and lake open on Memorial Day weekend and close on Labor Day weekend.
Are your pools ADA-friendly?
- Yes, our pools are ada-friendly and offer either a pool lift or zero-entry access.

How far in advance should I make my reservation?
- We recommend booking at least 3-6 months in advance of the desired arrival date, as our camp-resort will fill up quickly!
When is the cheapest time to book?
- Sunday night- Thursday night will be our lower rates, with our higher rates being the weekends.
What are your peak and non-peak season dates, and does that affect the attractions?
- Our camp-resort dates and availability of attractions vary throughout the season and are as follows:
- Peak season: Memorial Day- Labor Day
- Non-peak season: opening weekend- Memorial Day and Labor Day- closing weekend
- Events, attractions, and facilities have limited availability during the non-peak season.
Can I tour the camp-resort?
- We are happy to show off the camp-resort, and we do allow tours.
- However, we cannot allow tours on holidays or busy weekends.
- Please call ahead, we would hate for you to waste a drive.

Will my reservation guarantee a specific campsite or cabin assignment?
- We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cabin by paying our applicable $35 lock-in fee.
- If you opt out of the lock-in fee, you are guaranteed your selected campsite or cabin type, but not the specific unit number.
How many guests can I have on my reservation?
- You can have up to 8 people on your reservation if you are at a tent site, RV site, or cabin. (The ranger cabin is a maximum of 4 guests.)
What can I use my Jellystone Park™ gift card towards?
- Jellystone park™ gift cards are applicable towards reservations, day use passes, store purchases, or activities & amenities.
Do you have RVs to rent?
- We do not have RVs to rent at our campground.
Do you provide linens in all cabins?
- Please bring your own linens, including bath towels.
- Linens are also available for rent at checkout.
Can my friends come and visit?
- Absolutely! Guests must pay the day-use fee to visit.
- Our campers are not allowed to give out their gate pass to their guests, and day-use guests may not bring vehicles into the park.
- You may meet your guests at the ranger station and take them to your site after they have purchased their armbands.
Can I pitch a tent at my campsite if I have an RV?
- Our sites are currently one camping unit per campsite.
Is firewood available for purchase?
- We have firewood available for purchase at our ranger station!
- A bundle of firewood (7 or 8 pieces) is $7.00 plus tax.
- To preserve the beauty of our wooded camp-resort, please do not cut down or damage trees in any way.
Can I bring my own firewood?
- Not at this time.
Can I rent a golf cart if I am only there for day-use?
- No, our golf carts are for our campers with reservations only.
How do I rent a golf cart if I am staying overnight?
- This is an add on when booking your reservation.
- If you are already here and decide you would like to add on a golf cart, feel free to swing by the ranger station.
Can I bring my own golf cart or ATV to the camp-resort?
- For safety and liability reasons, guests are not permitted to bring any personal motorized vehicles, such as golf carts, into Jellystone Park™.
- While we do not like to be the fun police, guests found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave without refund.
- For your convenience, we do offer golf cart rentals that allow accessing our camp-resort easily and fun!
- If you have a disability, you can bring your own golf cart, however, you must provide documentation for insurance and have a handicap placard.
Can I bring my own e-bike or motorized scooter to the camp-resort?
- Yes, e-bikes and motorized scooters are allowed on-site.
- Please ensure that all speed limits and traffic signs are respected.
- For everyone’s safety, if reckless driving is observed, e-bikes and motorized scooters will need to remain parked at your campsite for the remainder of your stay.
How many cars are permitted at my site, and may I have extra cars?
- You may have two cars per site, but each car should have a car pass hanging on the rearview window.
- These are given with your reservation materials.
- We do not allow extra cars per site because we do not have enough parking space available.
Do you have quiet hours?
- We do!
- Quiet hours are 10 pm – 7 am daily.
- Any guest under 18 years of age must be at their campsite or cabin during these hours, unless accompanied by an adult.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed at your park?
- They are, but the beverage must be held in an unmarked container or koozie.
- This is a family-friendly camp-resort, so please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language.
Where can I find information about your themed events?
- Good question!
- We have lots of themed weekends throughout the year.
- You can find a list of our upcoming themed events on our website under the “things to do” tab.
Can I bring a pet with me? Yes!
- We are a pet-friendly resort! Pets are allowed at rv sites, but not in our playgrounds, restrooms, or other buildings.
- Pets are also allowed at pet-friendly cabins, so please request at the time of booking.
- Pet owners are required to bring a leash for their pets and are responsible for pet clean-up and noise control.
- For the safety of our guests, pets must be up to date on vaccinations.
- We reserve the right to remove hostile and disruptive pets from the park.
What forms of payment are accepted at your park?
- We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
How do I get my reward points?
- Your points are added after your stay at our park.
- If you do not see your points added within a month of leaving our park, please contact us, and we will gladly help you.
Who do we call if we have an after-hours emergency?
- Please call (440)309-6078 in the event of an after-hours emergency, and it will be answered by the manager on duty.
Pease Note
- A camper is not a tenant but an occupant/lodger on a day-to-day basis.
- A camper has no property or possessors rights in the campsite being occupied.
- Express permission is given to charge a credit/debit card for any balance due at check-out.
- Outside firewood is not permitted.
- Firewood can be purchased at the Ranger Station.
- Speed limit is 5mph and is strictly enforced.
- Pedestrians have the right of way on roads.
- Quiet hours are 10 pm-8 am. Respect your fellow campers.
- Please remember that this is a family resort and that appropriate language, behavior, and attire must be maintained at all times.
Covid-19 Precaution
- The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization.
- COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact.
- Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19.
- Further, participation could increase your risk of contracting COVID-19.
Rules
Check-In Procedure
- RV and Tent Campsite check-in time is 4:00 pm (EDT), and Check-Out time is 11:00 am (EDT).
- Lodging check-in time is 4:00 pm (EDT), and Check-Out time is 11:00 am (EDT).
- If you intend to arrive before your check-in time, please notify our office, and we will make every effort to have your campsite available.
- However, we cannot guarantee its availability until check-in.
- We ask that you honor our Check-Out time promptly to minimize hardship on our housekeeping staff and the next arriving guests.
- All reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- There is a 2-night minimum on all advanced reservations (3-night minimum on all Holiday reservations).
- No refunds after check-in.
- Reservation fee and lock-in fee are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Firewood
- Firewood is not permitted to be brought into the park.
- We have wood for sale in the Ranger Station.
Cabins or Lodges
- Let us know that you’re bringing a pet, and we’ll book you into a pet-friendly cabin or lodge, subject to availability.
- We charge a $25 non-refundable cleaning deposit per pet per stay (2 pet limit).
- Unfortunately, if your pet persuades you to sneak him or her into a non-pet cabin or lodge, you will be liable for $300 in cleaning charges.
RV Sites
- While there’s no charge for bringing your pet with your RV, please don’t leave your pet unattended outside or erect any type of fence or pen around your site.
Pet Policy
- Pets are welcome and should be under the owner’s control or leashed.
- Make sure you keep your pet with you or attend to your site.
- Pets must be kept on leash and attended to.
- Please clean up after them, and control barking so as to be considerate of other campers.
- No exotic or vicious animals allowed.
- Pets are not allowed in the pool area or on the playground.
Aggressive Pets
- If your dog shows behavior that is protective and unfriendly to strangers, please leave it at home.
- If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior, the owner or management of the park will ask you to please find other camping accommodations.
Speed Limit
- The speed limit is 9 ½ MPH.
- Please observe our speed limit to ensure the safety of all our guests.
- Remember, children are playing!
Quiet Time
- Quiet time is 10 pm-7 am.
Site Occupancy
- Only ONE (1) RV or Tent is allowed per campsite.
- Campsites (RV and Tent) allow for a maximum of SIX (6) persons per site.
- Maximum occupancy for cabins is the maximum number of people they are rated to sleep.
Smoking Policy
- Smoking is not allowed in any buildings at Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone Park™, including cabins.
- If you are found to have been smoking inside one of our cabins, you will be assessed a one-time cleaning fee of $250.
After Dark Policy
- In order to ensure all our guests’ safety after dark, please carry a flashlight with you.
- No bike or scooter riding after dark.
Trash and Garbage Policy
- Trash pickup is during store hours.
- Please place all trash at the end of your site.
Ground Disposal
- Ground disposal of any drain water (gray or black) is prohibited by state law.
- Wastewater from RVs (including sink water) must be disposed of into sewer drains.
- Do not put grease down the sewer.
Sewer Connections
- Sewer connections are required by state law and must have a tight seal by a sewer donut (or sewer ring) or a screw-type connector.
Prohibited Items and Activities
- Clotheslines
- Fireworks
- Firearms – This includes BB, Airsoft, and pellet guns.
- Metal Detectors
- Recreational Vehicles – This category includes battery-operated vehicles such as golf carts.
- Seasonal guests must provide proof of insurance and obtain management approval before operating a personal golf cart on the property
- Drones – For safety purposes, we do not allow drones to be flown in our park. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- Vehicle Repairs (including oil change, etc.) of vehicles and RVs are not permitted in the park. You may check the local listings for businesses that provide these services.
Swimming Pool
- No Lifeguard is on duty.
- Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult (18 years or older).
- Anyone behaving in an unsafe or destructive manner will be removed from the pool area.
- Only bathing suits permitted in the pool, no cotton material permitted (i.e., cut-offs, t-shirts, etc.).
Visitors
- Your visitors are always welcome at Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone Park™ as long as they register at the main office.
- Registered guests and their visitors are expected to read and adhere to all campground guidelines.
- Guidelines are presented at the time of check-in.
- All your visitors must register, be added to your reservation, or pay day use fees.
- If your visitor chooses to pay the day use fee, they must leave the campground by 7 pm.
- Visitors must be registered at the Ranger Station upon arrival.
- Registered campers must meet their visitors at the Ranger Station for registration.
- Visitors must pay a visitor fee upon arrival.
- Registered campers must be on site with their visitors at all times.
- Registered campers are responsible for their visitors.
- Visitors may not bring pets onto the Jellystone Park property.
Mode of Payment
- We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Cash.

Deposit
- You can secure your reservation with a 50% deposit today, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your stay.
Minimum Reservation
- During Peak Season, there is a TWO (2) night minimum reservation for all campsites.
- Holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day) require a THREE (3) night minimum reservation.
Site Lock Fee
- When booking your reservation, we will assign you a cabin based on the cabin type you selected.
- If you want a specific cabin, and it is available, you can reserve it with a $35 Site Lock Fee.
- This fee is non-refundable.
Reservation Changes
- There is a $10 change fee for any changes made to an existing reservation.
- The Management reserves the right to refuse service, limit the length of stay and the number of persons or vehicles per site, and/or evict any person or party without refund.
Campground Disclaimer
- We’ve established the following guidelines to help ensure your safety and enjoyment while in our park, and the same to our other guests.
- Those who choose not to observe these guidelines can be asked to leave our park without any form of a refund.
Cancellation Policy
Campground Cancellation Policy
- Reservations may be revised up to two times before forfeiting the entire reservation cost.
- Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the check-in date.
- Camping is an outdoor activity; therefore, we do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature.
- Please also understand that we schedule staff and plan activities based on reservations.
- We cannot be held responsible for weather, illness, work schedules, or other situations impacting our guests and therefore, enforce our cancellation policy regardless of circumstances.
- All camping credits issued expire at the end of the 2024 season
Campsite Cancellation Policy
- We will return your deposit minus a $30 service charge if you cancel EIGHT (8) or more days prior to your arrival date.
- If you cancel SEVEN (7) days or less of your arrival date, your full deposit is forfeited.
Lodging Cancellation Policy
- We will return your deposit minus a $30 service charge if you cancel FIFTEEN (15) or more days prior to your arrival date.
- If you cancel FOURTEEN (14) days or fewer of your arrival date, your full deposit is forfeited.
Holiday Cancellation Policy
- We will return your deposit minus a $30 service charge if you cancel THIRTY (30) or more days before your arrival date.
- We do not refund holiday deposits on cancellations made TWENTY-NINE (29) days or less of your arrival date.
- Please make sure you schedule your holiday reservations carefully.
- Holidays 1 week or less: Reservation and all monies paid are forfeit.
No Shows
- Guests failing to contact us to cancel their reservation (within the required time listed above) will be considered a “No Show.”
- “No Show” is subject to the same cancellation policies.
- 4 days or less to check-in, after check-in, or no-show:
- Reservation and all monies paid are forfeit.
- You must contact the campground by 9 am the morning after check-in, or you will be considered a no-show.
Modification
- In general, if you cancel a reservation, the amount refunded to you is determined by the Campsite's cancellation policy that applies to your reservation.
- Any additional service fee charged to you by the Campsite may be refunded pursuant to the cancellation policy presented in the applicable listing.
- Both you and each Campsite are responsible for any modifications made to your reservation, and you agree to pay any applicable fees related to such reservation modification.
- If you are charged a booking fee upon checkout:
- The booking fee is fully refundable if you cancel your Campsite reservation within 24 hours of booking.
- After 24 hours, the booking fee is refundable only if your Campsite reservation is also fully refundable at the time of cancellation.
- Please note that the booking fee is not partially refundable.
Refund Policy
- 1+ Weeks before check-in: Refund less $30 cancellation fee or a camping credit less a $30 cancellation fee will be issued.
- Sorry, no refunds for early departures.
- At check-in, we honor the period of time you requested for your campsite or lodging unit.
- Camping is an outdoor experience, and accordingly, we do not offer refunds due to the whims of Mother Nature.
- All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking.

- Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
