Ogemaw County Fair

West Branch, Michigan

69 RV Sites

Ogemaw County Fairgrounds in West Branch, Michigan, offers 69 RV sites with water and electric on 30 and 50-amp service, sized for rigs to 60 feet, in northern lower Michigan. This is well-priced fairgrounds camping with genuine community character, serving both fair week and a season that runs well beyond it. Sixty-nine back-in sites carry water and electric on 30 or 50-amp, sized to 60 feet — note there are no sewer hookups at the sites, though a dump station is on site. Group sites and rustic spots supplement the hookup sites, giving tent campers basic fire-and-nature infrastructure without the utility overhead. Restrooms, showers, and WiFi handle the practical side. Pets are welcome. On-site facilities are practical rather than elaborate: a playground for families and the open fairgrounds themselves, which give guests considerably more room than a conventional campground layout. The pricing reflects the format, and for travelers who want space and simplicity over programming, that trade works well. West Branch sits in Ogemaw County in northern lower Michigan, with the Rifle River's fishing and natural recreation close by. The county fair itself, including the Antique Village, is the anchor event of the season and draws RV-equipped families from across the region. Availability tracks the fair calendar closely. Fair week fills the grounds and books out well in advance, while the rest of the season generally offers easy availability at a lower rate. Check the fair schedule before planning a stay — it is the single biggest factor in what you will find here.
