Jellystone Park Barton Lake in Fremont, Indiana, offers 328 full-hookup RV sites, 87 cabin, cottage, and lodge units, and 26 tent sites on a lake, with 30 and 50-amp service and rigs accepted to 42 feet. Lakefront standard, buddy, and buddy trio categories join preferred tiers, alongside a water park, indoor and outdoor pools, splash pad, and laser tag.
Three hundred twenty-eight sites span lakefront standard back-in 30-amp, lakefront standard back-in, lakefront standard buddy, lakefront standard buddy trio, and preferred categories, all carrying water, sewer, and electric with site WiFi, sized to 42 feet, with fire pits, picnic tables, and BBQ pits. The buddy trio category is unusual — three rigs traveling together, side by side. Note the 42-foot cap. Eighty-seven cabins, cottages, and lodges and 26 tent sites round out the lodging. A laundry, propane fills and exchange, dump station, restrooms, and firewood handle the practical side. A daily resort fee covers mini-golf, the playground, and the wider amenity program.
A water park, splash pad, and both indoor and outdoor pools anchor the recreation, with a beach, boat ramp, boat docks, boat rentals, and kayak rentals opening the lake for boating, paddle boats, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Mini-golf, laser tag, an arcade, jumping pillow, gem mining, sports courts, basketball, volleyball, a craft room, recreation center, golf cart rentals, playground, pavilion, on-site dining, and a snack bar fill the rest.

What can I use Jellystone Park gift cards towards?
- Jellystone Park™ gift cards are applicable towards reservations only.
- They may not be used towards store purchases or attractions.
Can I bring my drone?
- No, we do not allow drones at this time.
Can I tour the park?
- We are more than happy to show off our Indiana campground, but please schedule a visit in advance.
- Unfortunately, weekend tours during the season are not available.
Do you allow fireworks?
- With the exception of sparklers, fireworks are not allowed in Jellystone Park™.
When can I pick up my golf cart?
- Golf cart pick-up is available from 2 PM until the office closes.
- Please note that during peak season on weekends, dusk can be as late as 9 PM.
- However, on weekdays, we close before dusk.
How many people are allowed per site?
- The cabin or campsite rate accommodates up to 2 adults and 2 children under 18 years old. 4 adults, 4 children maximum per site.
- An additional person fee applies.

What is the speed limit?
- Because we're one of the best family campgrounds in Indiana, our park is full of active families with children, and there is mountainous terrain. The speed limit throughout the Camp-Resort is 5.5 MPH and is strongly enforced for your safety.
- If you do not feel that you are driving ridiculously slow, then you are driving too fast.

Can I bring my own boat or watercraft?
- You can! We have dock space to rent for a fee.
- Campers must either rent a dock to moor or put the watercraft in and take it out after each time of use.
- Campers may not leave any watercraft in the water for any length of time without docking.
- Barton Lake is a small fishing lake, so it is a NO WAKE lake.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
- They are, but no glass is permitted.
- Alcohol must be in an unmarked, nonbreakable container or a koozie.
- Since we're one of the best campgrounds in Indiana for families, we ask that you please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language.
Can I bring my own golf cart, motorized scooter, or ATV to your Indiana campground?
- For safety and liability reasons, guests are not permitted to bring any personal motorized vehicles, such as golf carts, into Jellystone Park™.
- While we do not like to be the fun police, guests found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave without a refund.
- For your convenience, we do offer golf cart rentals that allow accessing our Midwest campground easy…and fun!
How far in advance should I make my reservation?
- We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance of the desired arrival date, as our Camp-Resort will fill up quickly!
- We book reservations up to 360 days in advance!
Do you offer any discounts?
- We do! We offer great deals all season long!

Can I smoke at the park?
- Since we are one of the best family campgrounds in Indiana.
- Smoking, including vaping, of any kind is not permitted in common and indoor areas, including but not limited to the pool area, playgrounds, pavilions, and all buildings.
- Smoking is not permitted within 50 feet of any building entrance.
- Smoking is not permitted inside cabins or on cabin porches, but is permitted outside at cabin sites.
- Smoking is permitted at campsites, but must be confined to your designated site.
- Please dispose of all cigarette butts.
- Smoking of any substances besides tobacco and vaporizers will not be tolerated.
- Management reserves the right to fine violators of this policy.
Where do I get firewood?
- We have firewood available for purchase at our Ranger Station.
- Campers are not allowed to bring their own firewood due to regulations from the Indiana Department of Agriculture.
- To preserve the beauty of our wooded Camp-Resort, please do not cut down or damage trees in any way.
How late am I able to return to the park?
- You may come and go as you please, as long as you have the gate code for access with a vehicle.

Registration and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- Campsite Check-in Time: 2 p.m.
- Campsite Check-Out Time: 1 p.m.
- Cabin Check-in Time: 4 p.m.
- Cabin Check-Out Time: 11 a.m.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager makes the ultimate decision regarding spot placement.
General Rules & Policies
- Specific campsites or cabins may be requested, but are not guaranteed.
- We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cabin by paying our applicable locking fee.
- If you opt out of the locking fee, you are guaranteed your selected site or cabin type, but NOT the specific unit number.
- We have adopted dynamic rates which fluctuate based on occupancy similar to the hotel and airline industry. With that being said, rates vary based upon availability and are subject to change with each search.
- 1 camping unit and 2 cars per site; extra vehicles must park in the overflow lot.
- Must be 21 or older to rent a campsite or cabin.
- Wristbands issued upon check-in must be worn at all times to identify you as a registered guest.
- These wristbands also serve as your ticket to fun! They grant you access and use of the parks attractions and facilities.
- You may be turned away from an attraction or facility if a wristband is not present.
- All international flags, Military, including Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, POW, MIA, and veterans, sports, and decorative flags such as holiday, seasonal, or garden.
- Please, no bicycle riding after dark; helmets are recommended.
- Campers may arrive on a motorcycle, but are not permitted to ride the vehicle around the park.
- Sorry, we cannot accept reservations that include a Saturday arrival or departure, unless made within 1 week of booking.
- Bookings made during Memorial Day Weekend or Labor Day Weekend with a Sunday departure date will not be accepted, unless made within 1 week of booking.
- The following visitor fees apply for overnight guests: Non Peak season - $19 / overnight, $57 / 4-7 nights; Peak season & Holidays - $32 / overnight, $96 / 4-7 nights
- Quiet hours: Daily 11 PM-8 AM.
- Guests must obey all federal, state, and local laws regarding the ownership and possession of firearms.
- Firearms are not permitted in any property buildings or common areas.
- The only exception is that guests may have a firearm in a locked, private vehicle in parking areas if permitted by law.
- The discharge of firearms, BB guns, air guns/rifles, or similar devices is strictly prohibited.
Cabin Reservations
- Unless otherwise noted, rates are based on 4 people (4 years old and older). Additional person fees apply.
- No tents are allowed in cabins or cottages.
- Minimum stay restrictions may apply during your requested camping time.
- Our cabins are non-smoking.
- An excessive cleaning fee will be assessed if a policy is violated.
- The following fees will apply: $50 for 1 pet, $75 for 2.
Campsite Reservations
- Campsites allow a maximum of one RV and one tent.
- Total campsite occupancy may not exceed 8.
- We offer seasonal campsites and trailer storage for our guests.
- Limit 8 people per site. Rates based on 4 people (4 years old and older). Additional person fees apply.
- Minimum stay restrictions may apply during your requested camping time.
Pet Policy
- Pets are ONLY allowed in our Barton Lake Bungalow pet-friendly units.
- A maximum of two pets are allowed at all RV campsites.
- Pets are not allowed on tent sites.
- Pets of the registered RV site occupant are welcome, but limited to 2 pets per site.
- Guests or visitors may not bring pets with them. If they arrive with a pet, they will not be permitted to enter the park.
- The pet owner is responsible for noise and clean up.
- Pets must be kept on a leash and may not be left unattended at the site.
- No pets allowed at tent sites.
- We reserve the right to remove hostile pets from the parks.
- Make sure to fill out our pet waiver.
Refund Policy
- Refunds are prohibited for weather conditions, voluntary departure, acts of nature, or evictions.
- Any refund processed will be refunded in the same form that it was originally paid, or a reservation credit can be issued towards a future stay to be used within one year from the date the reservation credit was issued.
- All refunds processed via credit/debit card will be processed back to the original credit/debit card used, no exceptions.
Change Policy
- Changes to reservation arrival or departure dates made outside of the cancellation window (2+ weeks) will result in a one-time courtesy change and every change made thereafter will be charged a $15 service fee.
- The guest is responsible for any resultant difference in rates.
- Changes made to decrease occupancy or pets resulting in a credit owed will result in the issuance of a Camp Credit.
- Camp Credit will remain active on the User Account and will expire one year from issuance.
- Reservation arrival or departure dates may not be changed inside the cancellation window.
Payment Policy
- For a limited time, all future bookings will only require 50% down.
- The remaining 50% will be required to be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival.
- We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
- If applicable, a resort fee is added to each reservation.
- Additional person fees may apply if the number of allowable guests exceeds the included number of guests per site as set in the base rate.
No Shows
- Reservations will be held until check-out time on the day following your scheduled arrival.
- No shows will result in full forfeiture of funds.
- All rates, specials, terms, and policies are subject to change at any time without notice.
Water Attractions and Pool Rules
- All persons under the age of 16 must have a supervising companion to be in the pools and within the pool and water attraction area.
- “Supervising companion” is understood to mean a person who is responsible for assuring that the child will comply with applicable rules and regulations.
- Some pools and attractions may not have a Lifeguard on duty.
- Please supervise children at all times and follow all posted signs and rules.
- US Coast Guard approved Life Jackets and Puddle jumpers are encouraged for all children 48” or less.
Behavior
- We expect all guests to behave in a family-friendly manner.
- Line jumping, profanity, and unruly behavior are considered offensive behaviors and could result in the guest being ejected from the property without a refund.
Dress Code
- Proper swim attire is required.
- Swim attire must be appropriate for a family environment.
- Inappropriate swim attire: Jeans, cut-offs, undergarments, swimwear that is revealing or has messaging that depicts violence, nudity, vulgarity, or discriminatory language or graphics.
- Swim attire with buckles, rivets, zippers, or exposed metal, and other sharp objects is not allowed on slides.
Outside Food and Beverages
- Food, drinks, and coolers are allowed in the waterpark.
- Glass, bottles, or containers, and alcohol are not permitted.
- Food and beverages are not allowed in any pools or spas.
Prohibited
- Pets are not allowed, except for working service animals.
- Service animals must always be with their handler and may not be in pools or in contact with the water.
- Smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes are not allowed in or around the pool area.
- Firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind are not allowed.
- Larger outside flotation devices, including floats and rafts, are not permitted.
- Breath-holding games are not permitted in any pools or attractions.
- Rules and regulations prohibit campers/guests from cutting trees.
Inclement Weather
- For your safety, certain pools or attractions may need to close during severe weather, such as electrical storms, heavy rain, or high winds.
- If weather causes a closure, every attempt will be made to reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.
- Pool decks and cabanas will be cleared, and guests will be asked to remove their personal items and leave the waterpark area.
Ride Restrictions
- Guests with limited swimming abilities, certain body proportions, certain heights, and/or weights may not be able to enjoy all attractions.
- All guests must meet the attraction's requirements to ride.

Campground Cancellation Policy
- We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature.
- The fun continues rain or shine.
- Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date.
- For Lodging Rentals: 3+ WEEKS, Refund minus $25 cancellation fee per cabin, OR full refund issued in camp credit
- 2+ WEEKS: 50% of the reservation issued in camp credit is valid through the end of the camping season it is issue,d and 50% of the reservation is forfeited
- LESS THAN 2 WEEKS: Full reservation forfeited
- For Three Bears Lodge: 5+ WEEKS, Refund minus $50 cancellation fee per lodge OR full refund issued in camp credit
- 4+ WEEKS: 50% of the reservation is issued in camp credit, and 50% of the reservation is forfeited
- LESS THAN 4 WEEKS: Full reservation forfeited
- For Campsites: 2+ WEEKS, Refund minus $25 cancellation fee per campsite, OR full refund issued in camp credit
- 1+ WEEKS: 50% of the reservation issued in camp credit is valid through the end of the camping season it is issued, and 50% of the reservation is forfeited
- Less than 1 Week: Full reservation forfeited
- The cancellation policy shall be amended in the event a natural disaster (i.e. Blizzard, Hurricane, or Tropical Storm Watch/Warning) is issued for the camp-resort area or the guest’s residence within 48 hours of the reservation arrival date OR when there is a mandatory evacuation of the area and the camp-resort will be closed.
- All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking.
