Coeur d'Alene's Kootenai County position on US-95 and I-90 in the northern Idaho Panhandle gives the campground the specific resort-lake-city character of a campground on one of the most photographed natural lakes in the Pacific Northwest — a 30-mile-long lake of mountain-rimmed blue water that National Geographic has recognized among the most beautiful lakes in the world. Nineteen cozy lakeside sites with the complete amenities and the Lake Coeur d'Alene waterfront access give CampCDA the intimate, premium lakeside camping character that the small site count specifically enables — the 19-site scale gives the campground the privacy, the quiet, and the specific sense of an uncrowded lakeside retreat that the resort hotel and the larger commercial campground cannot sustain at the same intimate scale, and the Lake Coeur d'Alene frontage gives the campground the lake access for the sunrise kayak launch and the evening paddle that the resort hotel's indoor orientation cannot provide. Pets are welcome. Lake Coeur d'Alene, a 30-mile glacially carved lake in Kootenai, Benewah, and Shoshone Counties, sustains the westslope cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, and the Coeur d'Alene Lake's landlocked kokanee salmon fishery in a lake whose extraordinary water clarity — the result of the post-EPA cleanup of the Silver Valley mining tailings that the 1994 Coeur d'Alene Basin Restoration project specifically addressed — gives the lake its specific reputation for the blue-green visibility that makes it one of the cleanest large lakes in the Pacific Northwest. The lake's shoreline is 109 miles including the St. Joe River's navigable lower reach into the lake from the east. Silverwood Theme Park, 25 miles north of Coeur d'Alene on US-95 in Bonner County, is the largest theme park in the Pacific Northwest — a 700-acre amusement park with the Aftershock roller coaster (one of the tallest looping coasters in the world), the Boulder Beach water park, and the vintage steam train that give Silverwood the Idaho Panhandle's primary family entertainment destination. The park's annual Scarywood Halloween event in September and October transforms the park into the region's most elaborate seasonal haunted attraction. CampCDA serves guests through Kootenai County's Idaho camping season from late May through October, with the summer lake recreation season from late June through August sustaining the peak camping and water recreation demand and the fall foliage season from late September through mid-October giving the Lake Coeur d'Alene's shoreline the birch and larch color that the Idaho Panhandle's specific fall foliage palette creates in the larch tree's annual needles-to-gold color change. Downtown Coeur d'Alene's resort boardwalk, the floating green golf hole on the lake, and the lakefront park's Ironman triathlon course give the city its specific resort-town character. The pool was in and out of commission the whole week we were there. The staff is absolutely super friendly and the bathrooms are impeccably clean! The mosquitoes were a bit of a pain come sundown but nothing you can do about that.

Check-in Procedure Check-in/Check-out: - Check out at 11 am for all campers. - Check-in is at 1 pm for all campers. Arrival Times - 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Initial Deposit - At the time of booking, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected. Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. Children - Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Deposit/Reservations Policy: - Credit Card payment is required for full payment at the time of booking. - Failure to show up on reservation day will result in full charges for the length of time booked with no refund given. Campground Season Year Round Pet Policy - Pets are welcome - Pets must be on a leash at all times. - No pets were left unattended at the campsite. - No pets in the pool area or office. - Guests allowed per site: Most sites allow for a maximum of 6 people except the 4-person cabins and a few of the smaller tent sites, see notes on each site. Vehicle - Most Tent sites allow a maximum of 2 tents and 2 cars. - Additional tents or cars require the rental of an additional tent site. - RV sites all equipment must fit within your site boundaries, tents are allowed - Cabins allow for a maximum of 1 car. No tents or trailers. - Tent/Van Electric sites allow only tents, vans, and truck campers. No Trailers. Guests who arrive with trailers may be refused check-in with no refund given. Parking Policy - All vehicles must fit within your site. - Please carefully read the site dimensions and measure the full length of your equipment before making a booking. Boat Parking - Unfortunately, we have very limited spare parking at camp. - All equipment needs to fit within the site you have rented. - Any additional boat parking required is based on space available at a rate of $10/day. Pool Policy - Children under 16 must have an adult present. - No food or beverages in the pool area. - No smoking in the pool area. - No running, no diving in the pool area. - The pool is not heated and open the same as office hours Water/Lake Policy - Children should have an adult present when around the water/lake area. - Life jackets must be worn while using campground vessels. - Guests assume all risks of using campground vessels. - Camp Coeur d’Alene is not responsible for lost or damaged items while in a campground vessel. - We do not have a docking area for motor boats and we do not recommend docking your personal kayaks, rafts, and canoes in Camp Coeur d’Alene’s water access. - Guests assume the risk of damage or loss of property to vessels docked at Camp Coeur d’Alene. Hiking Policy - Guests assume all risks while hiking in or near Camp Coeur d’Alene. - Camp Coeur d’Alene is not responsible for injury or negligence while hiking. - Please be aware of wildlife and falling rocks while hiking. Garbage Bin Policy - Residential bags only, no boxes and please use our recycling center when possible. Quiet Time Policy: - 10:00 pm to 8 am. - If multiple complaints are received and more than one warning is given, we reserve the right to ask you to leave with no refund given. - Please be respectful of other campers. Speed Limit Policy - 5mph at all times throughout the park. - Watch out for other campers. Alcohol - Please be courteous to other campers and families when consuming alcohol. Liability - Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injury, loss, damage, or theft of the interior of the RV or tent. Disclaimer - We thank you for your cooperation and consideration of other campers around you. - If you fail to comply with our rules and regulations we reserve the right to ask you to leave without refund. - Most importantly please enjoy your stay with us!

Cancellation Policy

FLEXIBLE If the guest cancels at least 3 days before their check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 3 days before check-in, there will be no refund.
