Santa Rosa RV Resort in Navarre, Florida, is a premier Gulf Coast camping destination along more than a quarter mile of Santa Rosa Sound waterfront in Santa Rosa County — a luxury-caliber resort property that combines the intracoastal waterway's calm protected water with the Gulf of Mexico beach access that the Navarre area's barrier island position on the Emerald Coast specifically provides in one of the most scenically distinctive stretches of the Florida Panhandle's 100-mile continuous white quartz sand beach. Navarre's Santa Rosa County position on US-98 between Fort Walton Beach and Pensacola gives the resort the specific Emerald Coast position that the Navarre Beach community sustains as the "Quiet Side of Paradise" — the less commercially developed neighbor to Destin and Pensacola Beach that gives resort guests the Gulf Coast natural beauty with a calmer character than the fully commercialized resort communities on either side. Luxury resort RV sites along over a quarter mile of Santa Rosa Sound waterfront give the resort the specific sound-to-gulf setting of a Navarre property that has the protected intracoastal water immediately at the campground's edge and the Gulf of Mexico beach a short drive or bike ride away at Navarre Beach — the sound's calm water gives the resort its kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and sunset-viewing character that the exposed Gulf beach cannot replicate, and the Gulf beach's quartz white sand and the emerald water give the Navarre resort's guest the complete Emerald Coast water experience. Pets are welcome. Navarre Beach, accessed via US-98 south from the resort across the Navarre Beach Bridge to Santa Rosa Island, is the longest undeveloped stretch of publicly accessible beach on the Florida Panhandle — a seven-mile beachfront on Gulf Islands National Seashore's Santa Rosa area where the National Park Service's land ownership ensures the development-free beach experience that the adjacent Destin and Panama City Beach commercial resort strips cannot provide. The Navarre Beach Marine Sanctuary's 1,000 feet of artificial reef habitat off the Navarre Beach Pier creates the most accessible diving and snorkeling destination on the Panhandle's Emerald Coast for the non-boat visitor. Blackwater River State Forest, 30 miles north of Navarre in Santa Rosa and Okaloosa Counties, protects the largest state forest in Florida — 189,000 acres of longleaf pine and wiregrass sandhill ecosystem in the most intact example of the longleaf pine flatwoods that once covered 90 million acres of the American Southeast and now persist in less than three percent of their original extent. The Blackwater River's tea-colored, current-swift canoe trail from Krul Recreation Area to Blackwater River State Park gives paddlers the 30-mile canoe and kayak corridor through the longleaf pine corridor that the state forest's sand-bottomed stream network sustains. Santa Rosa RV Resort serves guests year-round in Santa Rosa County's Emerald Coast climate, with the summer beach season from Memorial Day through Labor Day sustaining the peak family camping and Gulf Coast recreation demand and the fall and winter months from September through March providing the mild temperatures and lower crowds that the Florida Panhandle's snowbird and shoulder-season market specifically values. Pensacola, 30 miles west of Navarre on US-98, provides the National Naval Aviation Museum at NAS Pensacola — the largest naval aviation museum in the world, with 150 restored aircraft from the Blue Angels' Skyhawk to WWII's F4F Wildcat. Reserve sites well ahead for the summer Emerald Coast peak season and the Blue Angels' Pensacola air show in November.
