Vinyl Vineyards

Paso Robles, California

4 RV Sites, 6 Vintage RV Rentals

On 120 acres of working vineyard in Paso Robles, California—on the Union Road Wine Trail in the Adelaida District of the Paso Robles Wine Country where the Tempranillo, Grenache, Mourvedre, Zinfandel, and the Rhône varietals that the Paso Robles AVA's calcareous limestone soils and the marine-influenced diurnal temperature swing have made the largest wine appellation in California by acreage, and where the Union Road trail's boutique wineries produce the small-batch wine culture that the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance has built its identity around in deliberate contrast to the corporate wine tourism of Napa's Highway 29—Vinyl Vineyards provides six vintage Airstream trailers themed to legendary musicians—Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, Billie Holiday, Janis Joplin, and Mick Jagger—alongside RV sites accommodating rigs up to 33 feet, tent campsites, and vacation rental homes, with a Sip & Spin wine tasting experience, disc golf, hiking, BBQ and firepit, alpacas, hot showers, and communal kitchen on the vineyard property that The Tribune named Best Campground on the Central Coast in 2026. The musician-themed vintage Airstreams, the Sip & Spin wine tasting where guests choose the vinyl records that play while they taste, and the 120-acre working vineyard address define Vinyl Vineyards as the most specifically distinctive camping concept on the Central California Coast. Six vintage Airstream trailers—each individually themed and decorated to a specific legendary musician's aesthetic, complete with the specific cultural references that each musician's identity generates in the music lover's imagination—provide the glamping accommodation that makes a night at Vinyl Vineyards specific to the music-and-wine culture that the Union Road Wine Trail address makes natural. RV sites accommodating rigs up to at least 33 feet on level, drive-in positions with picnic tables and Adirondack chairs provide the self-contained RV option on the vineyard landscape. Tent campsites, vacation rental homes, and the Airstreams collectively accommodate up to 60 guests nightly on the property. Five shared bathrooms with hot showers, water stations, and a communal kitchen area serve the communal amenity infrastructure. Disc golf, hiking trails through the vineyard terrain, BBQ and fire pits, and the alpaca herd that the vineyard maintains as the resident animal population complete the outdoor recreation and animal encounter programming. The Sip & Spin wine tasting experience—Vinyl Vineyards' signature programming—combines small-batch Paso Robles wine tasting with the guest's choice of vinyl records playing on the turntable during the tasting session, creating the specific multi-sensory wine tasting format that no other Paso Robles winery or vineyard camping property provides. The vineyard's production focuses on the Rhône and Spanish varietals that the Adelaida District's calcareous soils express most distinctively. Downtown Paso Robles—minutes from the property on Highway 46 West and the G14 Road—provides the Park Street commercial district's independent restaurants, wine bars serving the 200-plus Paso Robles wineries' output by the glass, and the Paso Robles Inn's historic grounds as the central gathering place that California's wine country communities use to consolidate their visitor service infrastructure within walking distance of each other. Vinyl Vineyards is open year-round in the Paso Robles Mediterranean climate. The Paso Robles Vintage Harvest Wine Festival in October and the Paso Wine Fest in May represent the wine country's two primary event weekends that bring the highest visitor volume to the wine trail. Reserve the musician Airstream early for festival weekends and summer, choose the Zeppelin Airstream, spin the record, and let the Paso Robles vineyard at sunset earn what happens when camping and wine country occupy exactly the same acres.
