Riverside Camping & RV Resort

Whistler, British Columbia

100 RV Sites

The only RV and camping resort located within the Town of Whistler, British Columbia—in the Coast Mountains of the Sea to Sky Corridor where Whistler Blackcomb operates as the largest ski resort in North America and the summer mountain biking, hiking, and zip-line culture transforms the same terrain into one of the continent's most complete year-round outdoor adventure destinations—Riverside Camping and RV Resort, a Parkbridge property, offers 105 full hookup winterized RV sites with 30 and 50-amp service and heated waterlines, 14 Western cedar log cabins with kitchenettes and lofts, 10 furnished yurts, washrooms with heated floors, laundry, WiFi, a convenience store, café, playground, an 18-hole putting course, bike rentals, and a free shuttle to Whistler Village in an open-year-round resort whose position in the town itself eliminates the drive between campground and the mountain. On-mountain access starts where the shuttle drops you. The 105 winterized full hookup sites with heated waterlines provide the infrastructure that year-round Whistler RV camping demands—standard hookups freeze in the Whistler winter, and the heated line technology is the difference between a functional winter base camp and a seasonal facility that closes when the skiing starts. Western cedar log cabins sleeping four in the bedroom-and-loft configuration with kitchenette, and the furnished yurts in the hillside forest position, provide the enclosed accommodation alternatives for guests who want the Whistler mountain environment without a rig or tent. Washrooms with heated floors, a café and convenience store, laundry, and WiFi complete the four-season practical infrastructure that a 40-acre resort in Canada's most famous mountain town delivers to guests who arrive in any month of the year. Whistler sits 125 kilometers north of Vancouver on the Sea to Sky Highway (BC-99) in the Coast Mountains, where the Fitzsimmons Creek Valley between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains creates the vertical and terrain variety that Whistler Blackcomb's 8,171 acres of skiable terrain—spread across two mountains connected by the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola—has made the benchmark for North American ski resort scale. The resort's 200-plus ski trails, 37 lifts, and the consistent Coast Mountains snowpack that typically delivers 11 meters of snow annually create the skiing that the resort's world ranking reflects. In summer, the same lifts and infrastructure support the Whistler Mountain Bike Park—the world's premier lift-accessed mountain bike destination—and the extensive hiking, zip-line, and the Peak 2 Peak Gondola sightseeing that transforms Whistler into a summer resort of equal stature. The Lost Lake Park network of trails surrounding Riverside's property provides the immediate cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and summer hiking access that begins from the resort's grounds. Whistler Village, a five-minute shuttle ride from the resort, concentrates the resort's restaurants, après-ski culture, boutiques, and the Whistler Olympic Plaza where the 2010 Winter Olympics medal ceremonies took place. The Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish, 45 minutes south, and the Shannon Falls Provincial Park's 335-meter waterfall add the supplementary day-trip options that the Sea to Sky corridor provides. Riverside operates year-round in Whistler's mountain climate—the winter ski season from November through April the most intense demand period and the summer mountain biking season from June through September the second major wave. The shoulder seasons of May and October offer Whistler's most affordable rates and the transition-season character of the mountain in mud season and early snow season that only the year-round resort accommodates. Reserve your site, cabin, or yurt at Riverside and let the town of Whistler, the free village shuttle, and North America's largest ski resort make the Sea to Sky Corridor the mountain destination your four-season itinerary deserves.
